A Visionary Wild Workshop
Aspens and autumn just go together, especially for a photo workshop in the southwest San Juan Mountains of Colorado. A VISIONARY WILD WORKSHOP
The majestic Grand Staircase descending toward the Grand Canyon and the canyons of the Escalante are a creative photographer’s dream come true. Boulder Mountain rises to the west of Capital Reef National Park in the picturesque Aquarius Plateau of South Central Utah. It is the highest timbered plateau in North America, with over 50,000 acres of rolling forests of pine, spruce, fir, and aspen, as well as expansive meadowlands. The area features the dramatic red rock canyons and sculpted formations for which southern Utah is famous, but it is a little known and refreshing alternative to more heavily trafficked southwestern locations.

MARBLE CAVES, REGION XI TO TORRES DEL PAINE, REGION XII
NOTE !!! — RESCHEDULED FOR 2020 — NOTE !!!
This 2020 trip will be my 6th workshop-safari into the two most southern regions of Chile. All have been in collaboration with our friends at outfitter-guide service Salvaje Corizon, The Chilean Guide Service. Region XI's best known feature (in this less-known part of Chilean Patagonia) is the other-worldly marble caves sculpted by wind and waves. Region XII’s most sought features are iconic Torres del Paine and the uber-rugged Cuernos del Paine. Both regions offer a plethora of subject matter far more varied than the headline venues.
